2012 will go down as a defining year for Overland Park real estate, it will be the year where the market finally stabilized and the pieces of a shattered housing market were put back together and Hampton Place was one of those subdivisions that helped lead the way. While there were less homes SOLD in 2012 than in 2011 in Hampton Place is was not due to lack of interested buyers. Inventory of homes for sale has been at an all time low since late 2011, that has been consistent in all of South Johnson County. As you will see in the report below, average list price, sales price and days on market have been strong and we expect the market to continue it's rebound right into Summer 2013.
