I think you will find the results are good and well worth it.
However, the key is consistency in posting informative useful info. that consumers want.  Best of luck!

I have made friends, received referrals and learned much from those who take the time to post considered points of view. I would challenge you to do likewise.

Well i have made new friends, picked up good information from others and also have picked up leads. I love it here and I think the long term is what you will find here.

I have made a lot of contacts - I have referred a past client who is relocating -- I have had several call from consumers moving to NH -- so far, I am quite pleased with the results.

From an SEO perspective, I am absolutely stunned at the number (and diversity) of pages in which we rank #1.  A new company- thought about in late 2006; implemented over the course of 2007.  Brand spankin' new.  Showing up on the first page (and hit upon) from the most diverse places.  Throughout the course, I haven't had a single person contact me.  I don't care.  I want the visibility for listing appointments.  The calls will come.  This is a gradual presence, like all marketing methods are.  Which indicate the best return?  Focus there.

I joined AR in April and just went to my first closing Friday for an AR out of state buyer contact. AR has been good for me already.

I don't know about lead generation from AR.  I orriginally joined with that hope in mind and did get a lead once.  And it does help a little for my google site.

But now, I just like the community.  Sometimes, I really feel like I'm out here on my own, trying to figure out a whole new business.  So it's nice to come here after a bad day, no leads day, the new phone system died day, etc, and know I'm not alone.  It's just a normal part of the job.  Not necessarily a sign of failure.

First, welcome to the Rain.  You may wish to join the Kansas City Rainers group, if you like.

Second, I generate quite a bit of business through my 2 websites and 2 blogs.  But make no mistake about it, I work very hard at this.  It's my chosen vehicle for advertising and relations.

Hope to see you around in here.  Feel free to call or email.  We should have some KC get-togethers for Rain at some point.

Active Rain is a part of my business plan.  The one in the budget that has a $0 cost to the right.

Leads?  I am not sure if it will be worth the time in AR just for the leads.Excellent argument.  Well, I just started spending time on AR, but I am impressed by the info it gives.  I now feel part of a community where all are working towards a common goal.
