Overland Park KS Homes for sale & Johnson County Real Estate Blog: Live for free in Gardner Kansas

Live for free in Gardner Kansas

How would you like to live for free in Gardner Kansas? Well if you purchase this newly listed 4 unit property you could be living absolutley free. Thios Gardner 4 unit is a HUD home and if you have been reading any of my posts, HUD homes only require a $100 down payment. Not only that but HUD allows for up to 3% of the purchase price to be used towards closing costs. Even better if you are a first time buyer you may qualify for the $8000 tax credit.

Each unit is 2 bedrooms and the average rent is around $500 to $550 per month and with the low $130,000 asking price you should be living free of charge.

Now that is how you make a difference in your life. When the time comes to buy your next place you will have rental income you can keep for the rest of your life.

If you have a college around there and I were a parent, I would  be buying this for my kids. Let them pay their way through college with it. I wrote an article about this about 3 years ago and it is a great way for kids to pay their own way by managing the units.

Hey Todd, thanks for stopping by. Unfortunately there are no colleges but it is still a great opportunity for a first timer. Way too many people get caught up in Single family for their first home.
