Overland Park KS Homes for sale & Johnson County Real Estate Blog: Blue Springs Missouri First Time Home Buyer Assistance Program

Blue Springs Missouri First Time Home Buyer Assistance Program

Are you a first time home buyer in need of a little assistance? Maybe you need some help with your down payment or a little extra money for your closing costs?

The new Blue Springs First Time Home Buyer Program help with both. This is a grant program and not a loan, so you won't to pay the money back as long as you live in the house for the required time period.

Here is the highlight of the Blue Springs First Time Home Buyer Grant Program. You can use the grant for the following:

  • Up to 50% of required down payment not to exceed $3000

  • Pay reasonable closing cost normally associated with purchasing a home

  • a combination of down payment and closing costs not to exceed $3000

Grants are awarded on a first come first served basis. Funds are limited and you must purchase a home located in Blue Springs Missouri. There are also income limitations based on family size.
