It is January 2017 and my goal as your neighbohood real estate expert is to keep you informed about the real estate market in Hampton Place. Having lived in Hampton Place for 11 years now I have seen a lot of changes in the market and 2016 was no different.
I am going to do the stats a little different this year, I am going to provide the last 5 years so you can see the sales trend for the neighborhood. I think you will be very surprised by the 1, 3 & 5 year trend.

In the last year, home sales are up 15% and home prices are up 3.7% but if you look at the last 5 years. Home sales are up 24% and prices are up 16%. While we are nowhere close to our record sales year of 2006 (69 homes SOLD) we have exclipsed the pre recession average sales price of $347,732. We believe that 2017 will bring greater opportunities but we still have a major issue of not enough homes for buyers to purchase. Thats where you come in.
