Overland Park KS Homes for sale & Johnson County Real Estate Blog: I'll Slap you so Hard!

I'll Slap you so Hard!

Do you remember when you were a kid plays snaps with you buddies. You would say things like, I will slap you so hard your unborn children will feel it.

Well, our governement is about to slap us that hard. The pain from these bailouts will be so hard that the unborn children of your unborn children will feel it.

Just like pulling a band aid off fast is supposed to make it hurt less, congress is trying to get this done fast before the pain really sinks in.

Unfortunately America is going to be feeling the sting from this one for a long time, no matter how much Neosporin we put on it.

Interesting choice of words, but I must say I agree. This bailout will have it's place in history.

Michael, I hope congress takes care of this soon so they can get away from their grueling 4 day work week and go on vacation. Does the phrase out of touch come to mind...

They need to get back to their book deals and speech tours, because that is what being an elected official is about now. that and the lifetime pention & healthcare.

Michael,

I think our children's children's children are going to be paying on this.  This should not be approved.  It is reckless and irresponsible!

This analogy is so dead on...and unfortunately it's so true...we WILL feel the sting from this one for a very long time...

I know that I didn't have children to work off debt like they do in third world countries. However I was happy to have a boy to share the lawn mowing duties with.

Michael,  It look like that is what is going to happen.  It is like many American spend and borrow until you can't no more.  This is just delaying the inevitable.  We have got to do something to change the direction we are going.  This stop gap would be okay if they had a plan on how to reverse course, but I do not see one on the horizon.

Jimmy, Once you open the floodgates, it is really hard to get the water to stop flowing. The water will run completely dry or we will become so poor that china starts getting it's goods from us.

Hi Michael . . .   Yes, Inded . . .. We have got to do something to change the direction we are going.  This stop gap would be okay if they had a plan on how to reverse course, but I do not see one on the horizon.Hey . . .   whats the climate lie in your neck-of-the-woods?  Here on Kauai we have very few sales and Sellers are still entrenched in their concept of the old prices. Its a battle of wills at this point.

Aloha

Not only will this hurt, but there is no concrete evidence that this 'bailout' will do anything but prolong the inevitable and cost the taxpayers a huge amount of money in the process.   What a mess!

Michael - this is going to not only hurt future generations but it will change our country irrevocably.

Judy, I couldn't agree with you more. The divide between the haves and have nots is growing exponentially. This country is in a dire need for a redistribution of wealth.
