Michael- The Tax Credit is a great incentive for buyers. Also valuable right now are the current interest rates; interest rates sure make it more appealing for home buyers and should motivate them. In the article Time to Get Off the Fence and Into a Home, the same message comes in an atricle from NYTimes.com offered by Your Money. Another source with this message was from Smart Money, Time to refinance -- or buy a home?
Good job getting this message out. Happy Holidays!
Trey,
Thanks for dropping a line. I don't want buyers to say I didn't know.
This message can't seem to be given enough. It's also refundable if people don't have enough income to have it be a simple credit. But, it is also a loan and will be recaptured over 15 years -- but interest free.
Thanks! Michael, - good info and timely. My son is buying and this was a great reminder!
The new year can't come fast enough if you ask me.
Let's hear it for 2009!
Have a Merry Christmas!
Michael I like the headline. It certainly makes the program stand out for your local treaders. Well done, Karen
